Snowdonia is one of Wales’ most beautiful places to visit. If you decided that this is going to be your next holiday trip, then you are surely not going to get bored here.
For those of you who want to have fun and make the most of their stay at a Snowdonia mountain cottage, we’re put together a list of the top 4 activity ideas. Check them out and don’t forget to try them while in Snowdonia:
- Mountain biking. One thing you need to know is that, while in Snowdonia, you will put your muscles at work. Coed-y-Brenin is a hot spot for professional bikers. But you can enjoy the ride on a beginners’ track, because the landscape is magnificent either way!
- Walking up Snowdon. If you’re not a big fan of going on two wheels, you can take your friends out and go for the most famous walk in Wales. Once you get on top of Yr Wyddfa you can celebrate your victory with a well-deserved tea on the summit café. However, you might discover that the view is more than enough reward.
- Fishing at the Lake. If you don’t fancy these “extreme sports”, then enjoying a quiet afternoon at the Bala Lake is the perfect recreation for you. Make sure your Snowdonia mountain cottage is nearby the lake, though.
- Water rafting and canoeing. Talking about extreme sports, the Tryweryn River is an adrenaline rollercoaster!
